Funding FLEP

[Page 1 / Page 2]

Since its inception in 1986 to 2002, Pathfinder International has been the main financial donor, with supplemental funding from Planned Parenthood of Northern England, Threshold Foundation, Japan Embassy, World Bank through STI projects at district levels, Ministry of Health Government of Uganda and beneficiaries of FLEP services.

From 2000 to the present, FLEP has been receiving
$83,000 on average per year from the Ministry of Health Government of Uganda through the District Directorates for Health in the seven Districts of Jinja, Iganga, Kamuli, Mayuge and Bugiri.

From January 2000 to September 2002, $572,000 USAID was received through the John Hopkins University, District Local Government/Poverty Alleviation Fund.

FLEP has a generous list of donors, providing funds to allow her vision to be achieved. Summarized on the next page is a list of current and previous projects implemented by FLEP with financial support from development partners.

How can I support financially?

Due to the difficult and arduous task of securing funds from international organisations and governments, FLEP is always looking for private donors to sustain and improve its work in Uganda.
